Shows

Rafe is a grand champion and finished 2006 number 9 in the top ten after showing only 4 months!  We've been traveling to a lot of different shows over the last year.  Bebe is a Champion and has several legs towards her grand.  Lily is a Grand Champion.  Both made Champion before their first birthdays and we're very excited about that.  Alex and Bela are both showing in juniors and we are all enjoying the dogs.  Even Lizzie has gotten into the ring a few times.  Bela has shown her in the junior ring!  Here are some highlights from some of our shows...

Alex showing!

Alex has been showing for about 2 and a half years now.  He is competing in Open Senior and has since won several Best Junior Handler titles (after some great lessons from Tina and Jim Heinz (http://www.boykinspanielclub.org)).  He has been wowing judges since his lessons and practice.  His hard work is paying off.  Alex finished 2005 in the top 10 and is set to do the same for 2006 also taking first place in our region (Region 1).

Isabela starts to show dogs too!

I'm a proud mama!  My son Alex is showing and now my daughter Isabela is joining him.  She really liked all of the attention he got so she thought she'd give it a try.  She is doing wonderfully and even watched his classes (and joined in some days!) to pick up some skills.  I get very good feedback from the judges and they told Alex to watch out when Bela gets a little older, she's gonna give him a run for his money!
